11 April. 2008	The name of the institution was changed (Korea Welfare Promotion for the Disabled -> Korea Disabled People's Development Institute)
29 May. 2008	Full-scale implementation of certification system for products manufactured by persons with disabilities
15 July. 2008	Implemented the living environment without obstacles certification (BF certification) (annual implementation henceforth)
1 Sep. 2008	The first president, Rhie Yong-Heung was inaugurated
11 Dec. 2008	Contest to assess the rehabilitation project for the people with severe disability (annual implementation henceforth)
