Make the Right Real Fund Grant 2021

Korea Disabled People’s Development Institute (KODDI), the Secretariat of Make the Right Real (MRR) Fund, calls for project proposals from non-profit & non-governmental organizations for「Make the Right Real Fund Grant 2021」to empower persons with disabilities living in the Asia-Pacific region. We look forward to having your deep interest and participation.

1. Purpose of Grant

▶ To achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 10 (Reduce inequality within and among countries)

in Asia and the Pacific.

▶ To achieve the Incheon Strategy Goals to “Make the Right Real” for persons with disabilities in Asia

and the Pacific.

2. Who can apply?

▶ Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organizations in the Asia-Pacific region

※ This Grant is for countries outside of Korea.

3. Project Period: January ~ August, 2022

4. Target Projects

▶ You can apply for 1 project from either Type A or Type B.

Type

● Projects that can contribute to capacity building and independence of persons with disabilities in Asia and the Pacific.

- Project Type: Training, education, employment support, lectures, campaign, consulting service, workshop, conference, forum, etc.

Type

● Projects that can improve the physical environment and mobility for persons with disabilities in Asia and the Pacific.

- Project Type: Renovation of buildings*, providing assistive devices, modification of vehicles, etc.

* This is to provide convenience to persons with disabilities by renovating buildings for toilets, ramps, handrails, etc. for public facilities, OPD’s buildings, and homes of persons with disabilities. (It is required to submit the letter of agreement from the owner of the building, evidential document to prove the owner’s possession of the building, and a copy of estimate and one or more copy to compare the price.)

5. Grant Size

▶ Grant Amount: Up to 24,000 USD per project

▶ Note: One organization can apply for only 1 project

6. Application Period

▶ 2021 August 24 (Tues) ∼ 2021 September 22 (Wed) 18:00 (Seoul Time)
